Yutaka Hori

I am currently pursuing PhD degree at Dept. Information Physics and Computing, The University of Tokyo, where my advisor is Prof. Shinji Hara. I also hold a JSPS fellowship for young researchers awarded from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

My research interests lie in feedback control theory, signal processing and their applications. I am currently working on theoretic tools for the analysis and identification of biochemical dynamics in living cells. My former projects include decentralized control for a large number of autonomous agents and data compression of speech signal for efficient telecommunications.
